The Invisalign Process
It all begins with a consultation at Dulles Life Smiles. Dr. Gino will examine your mouth to determine if Invisalign is right for you. Then, he will take impressions of your teeth and work with the team at Invisalign to develop your personalized treatment plan.
When your aligners arrive, you’ll wear each set for about 2 weeks for 20-22 hours per day.
Then, every 6 weeks, you’ll come back to our office for a quick checkup and we will also give you your next several sets of aligners.
This process will continue until your treatment is complete, which usually takes between 20-24 sets of aligners. This means the average treatment time is under a year, though this may vary.
