Working with a nonprofit, like A Place To Be, that provides musical therapy is near and dear to Dr. Gino’s heart. In Peru, he grew up playing the piano or guitar for hours everyday. He used to be shy and insecure as a kid, but music helped him show the best of himself performing in public and overcoming those insecurities. He has firsthand experience of how transformative performing music can be for kids in need in our community. With music therapy, kids with disabilities can get the confidence booster they need to overcome their struggles and improve their quality of life!
